Warranty Terms LIFT-SPARES (Elegant Lift Sweden AB, Corporate number: 559420-3258)

LIFT-SPARES is a supplier that primarily provides spare parts for elevators and escalators to elevator repairers and retailers.

LIFT-SPARES also sells accessories, such as tools, consumables, personal equipment, and elevator and escalator accessories. The webshop LIFT-SPARES.se and .com is owned and managed by Elegant Lift Sweden AB.


Liability for damages

LIFT-SPARES cannot be held financially or legally responsible for damage to hardware, software, or loss of revenue that occurs in connection with repairs and service, regardless of cause or reason. LIFT-SPARES cannot be required to pay compensation for repairs that result in additional work or costs that arise due to defective products or delayed deliveries. 

We recommend that a professional repairer or someone with extensive experience carries out the repair.


General Warranties 

Spare parts generally have a 12-month warranty.

This warranty covers manufacturing defects and damage to the product caused by the manufacturer.

The warranty does not cover wear, damage, cracks or any physical damage caused by incorrect use or incorrect installation.

We offer a 6-month warranty for rechargeable batteries, such as lithium-ion batteries.

Different warranty periods with different conditions apply to different items, so please read carefully to determine the conditions for your item.

Please note that all spare parts and products must be visually inspected before installation or use. The warranty does not apply if, for example, a data cable is visibly damaged after installation or use.

Return Conditions

General Rules for Returning Goods

The warranty for your order begins to apply from the date of delivery. In the event of a return, the goods must be returned and delivered to LIFT-SPARES before the warranty period ends.

If LIFT-SPARES receives the goods outside the warranty period, the return will not be covered by the warranty. 

Returns accepted by LIFT-SPARES will primarily be replaced with the same item; if the item is out of stock, we will offer something that matches the original item. 

LIFT-SPARES does not credit or refund money to the customer for faulty items but will only replace them with similar items. 

LIFT-SPARES provides shipping labels for these returns at no extra cost (for customers within Sweden). 

For business customers, open purchase or right of withdrawal does not apply.

All returns must go through the RMA system or be accepted by LIFT-SPARES manually. 

When a return is received, it will be reviewed by a technician. The return process usually takes two business days.

If you, as a customer, send a package with goods that were not purchased from LIFT-SPARES, we have the right to claim the shipping fees that the handling has cost.

Spare Parts

Without exception, all spare parts must be visually inspected before installation to ensure that the component is not visibly broken. Visible damage is not covered if the spare part is installed or used in any way.

Any damage to the package and goods caused by the carrier must be reported to the shipping company, as LIFT-SPARES is not responsible for this.

If the spare part is altered in any way, such as glued, soldered, cut, or modified, the warranty will be void.

Remember to always use ESD-safe equipment when repairing electrical equipment.
